Borrowing the above headline from a catchy ‘Spectacular Northwest Territories’ ad I saw in the weekend edition of the Globe and Mail, it perfectly fits how I feel after a trip away this past weekend with my husband to Mont Tremblant in the beautiful countryside of rural Quebec.
There is nothing like (almost completely) unplugging from your phone, laptop and all technology to enjoy a few days of downtime to really recharge. The skiing was great and the hospitality was second to none, as it always is, in la belle province. A day at the Scandinave Spa Mont-Tremblant was a treat to each other for our 10-year anniversary. It turned out to not only be a super relaxing day but productive.. I started AND finished Kirstine Stewart’s ‘Our Turn’ which is a first in my books, finishing a book in one day! (I’ll be sure to share my coles notes on lessons learned from the book in a post here on the website soon!)
I can’t wait to now tackle the week ahead after a few days of beautiful views, the best company, exercise, wintery aromas, apres ski beverages and of course, beavertails!
… And for some (0dd) reason, my favourite animal (the cow) seemed to follow me to the village and was everywhere I turned. Always enjoy the small things 🙂
